crimsonredmk: What I think we could do is simply make some kind of GUI installer that extracts files from the original Shift release and installs it into C:\Shift, and then the installer would install GRUB and add C:\Shift as an option, along with Windows. Seems like the core idea here, right?

Kreuger: I have previously used Wubi and had a bit of trouble with it when installing on a partition shared with Windows. It wanted to copy all of my Windows documents and kept hanging while attempting this. So if you are planning to keep Windows on a partition, you may not want to use Wubi. However, I did have success with a program very similar that installs Debian so maybe we could use that one instead or hand in hand with Wubi? link here
