Development/Proposed Roadmap

Phase One: (June - December 2006)

• 0.6 is the "rebirth" of Shift: essentially marking our transition to Ubuntu.
• 0.7 (internal) is where the fun begins: it's where we throw in the big features of Shift. 0.7 will be a long series of releases, we have a lot to do.
• 0.8 (internal)is polish and minor feature additions. This will be a shorter series than 0.7, but not short
• 0.9 (internal) is bug fixing only; feature freeze. We need to have something perfect, and then make that Shift 1.0
• 1.0 is our first stable, official release. Bug fixes continue through apt-get only. - Late Summer 2008.
